Regional Business Development Manager

(Mid Atlantic, Washington DC area)

Responsibilities: We are looking for an aggressive, results-driven Business Development Manager for our rapidly expanding Internet Marketing Services portfolio. You will be responsible for selling Milestone products and services to hotels, brands, management companies and ownership groups. The selling process includes responding to incoming leads that are generated through our marketing efforts, direct sales to hotels, selling to hotel coops, tradeshows, etc. You will be expected to make presentations, demonstrate internet marketing concepts and present proposals to clients. The person in this role will also be responsible for conducting educational seminars for different brands and lodging industry groups and have the opportunity to establish themselves as the internet expert in the market. This is a field position and will be based out of the Mid Atlantic in major hotel hubs such as Washington DC, Baltimore, etc. and will be responsible for sales activities in the Mid Atlantic region.

Qualifications: We are seeking an aggressive person with strong and proven sales skills and ability to build strong long-lasting relationships with clients. Current relationships in the lodging industry are a strong plus. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment is needed. Bachelor's degree or equivalent needed. 5-10 years of relevant experience preferred. Strong communication and computer skills needed. 20-30% travel is required.

Product Manager – Booking Engine and e-Commerce Tools

Responsibilities:

• Drive the specification, development and product launch of Milestone’s next generation e-commerce booking engine solution
• Establish and manage relationships with all partners related to the development of booking engine
• Drive the adoption of booking engine in the hospitality and related markets
• Develop support tools and collateral for the customers and the sales team
• Provide support to sales team to get customer design wins
• Drive future generation roadmap and features
• Provide product management assistance with other Milestone software tools and products

Requirements:

• BA/BS with an MBA degree preferred
• At least 5 years in experience in product management, specifically related to hospitality industry.
• Experience in hospitality booking engine products a huge plus.
• Excellent analytical and modeling skills, ability top research and develop product specifications.
• Detail oriented, flexible, self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• High level of initiative and ability to meet deadlines. Positive “can do” attitude.

Graphic Designer/Web Designer

Responsibilities: Design and maintain hotel websites, direct mail, datasheets, online banners, email marketing. Work with the managers and senior graphic designer to develop clear marketing communications.

Desired Skills: 5+ years of professional experience in both web and print design
Strong graphic application knowledge included Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash MX a plus. Must possess excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail. Have strong typography, color and layout skills. Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or related studies

Senior SEO Manager

Job Description:
We are looking for a Product Manager for our Search products who will be responsible for managing the SEO and ROI teams. We are seeking an individual who has good knowledge of search engine optimization, organic and pay-per-click marketing, and overall online marketing.

Responsibilities:
• Enhancing Milestone’s Organic Promotion Strategy - Ongoing development and enhancement of Milestone’s award-winning organic strategy by expanding our advertising network, building strategic relationships with directories and partners, measuring the success of each partner on an ongoing basis
• Enhancing PPC product – being the liaison between Milestone and PPC channel partners as well as ppc tool vendors in the market.
• Training Account Managers and SEO Team - Training Account Managers and other team members on implementing new techniques, ways on improving existing techniques, better ways to promote client websites, and use of new tools
• Quality Check - Ensuring that all work being completed is done to perfection, evaluating enrollments, analyzing websites for key SEO elements, making sure that any problems are identified and resolved efficiently
• Driving Innovation – Making sure Milestone continues to be a leader in internet marketing by driving innovation and staying ahead of the curve
• Managing ROI – Making sure that ROI team is continuously implementing aggressive promotion strategies to ensure clients are getting higher returns.
• Sales Interface - working with sales team to update the products, pricing, and training of sales people on latest technologies.

Requirements:
• 4 to 5 years of industry (SEO/SEM) related experience
• BA/BS degree in a relevant field
• Strong understanding of website design and usability
• Understanding of search engine technology, algorithms, and ranking strategies
• Advanced analytical skills and understanding of tracking software such as Google Urchin, Google Analytics, Omniture, etc
• Team management and Project management experience is a must
